Rand Fishkin is the cofounder and CEO of SparkToro. He’s dedicated his professional life to helping people do better marketing through his blogging, videos, speaking, and his book, Lost and Founder.

When Rand’s not working, he’s most likely to be in the company of his partner in marriage and (mostly petty) crime, author Geraldine DeRuiter. If you feed him great pasta or great whisky, he’ll give you the cheat code to rank #1 on Google.

Lisa Myers is the CEO and Founder of award winning SEO Agency, Verve Search. Lisa has been working in SEO for 15 years (old). She grew Verve Search from a “one woman band” to the 50+ people agency it is today. In 2017 she sold Verve Search to Omnicom Media Group. Lisa is also an angel investor and mentor.

She’s fiercely passionate about SEO and business, but most of all people. She’s a self-confessed “geek”, and often refers to herself as a modern day shield-maiden (you can call her Lagertha!). She definitely swears a little too much. She loves whisky, but doesn’t like anchovies or the font Calibri.

Kim has worked as a copywriter, creative director, producer and director of 400 commercials and head of development in two international tv-production companies.

In addition to his academic position, he does lectures and workshops in creativity, ideation and the power of language. This has taken him to Scandinavia, Japan, Hungary, Holland, Germany, France, Brazil, Uk and the US. He is also the author of 5 books, number 6 - “Context is King” - is scheduled for publication in December this year.

Mark established and grew the content team at search agency, Distilled. During his time there, the content he was responsible for gained over 1.4 million social shares, 15 million views and links from 14,000 different sites.

3 years ago, Mark started his own consultancy, training content teams within agencies and brands how to come up with better content ideas. Having come up with a number of very successful ideas, Mark is now committed to (and completely obsessed with) breaking the creative process down into concrete, actionable steps that anyone can follow.

Shannon is the Head of PR and Content at Aira where she oversees all content creation and link building for clients using what she's learned in her previous traditional PR roles. She's worked with some well-known household brands such as Vouchercloud, RS Components, Goodyear Tyres, TravelSupermarket, AXA PPP healthcare and Poundland.

Stephen Panico is the Chief Growth Officer at BuzzStream, managing sales, marketing and service teams. He also does product work semi-regularly. He's contributed numerous resources to the BuzzStream blog, where he leverages research on produce usage and customer conversations to provide strategic content. His work has been featured in The Ultimate Guide to Link Building by Eric Ward and Garrett French, and he occasionally makes a guest appearance on webinars and vlogs from Mention, Marketing is Broken and more.

Previously he was the product manager of BuzzStream Discovery. Prior to his tenure at BuzzStream he managed marketing at Apptive, a mobile app development platform, with a particular focus on PPC and inbound. When Stephen isn't nerding out on outreach strategies he's dabbling in hobbies both enriching and esoteric, which at the moment include street photography and building a home Tiki bar.

Carrie Rose, is the Co-founder and Creative Director of Rise at Seven. She leads the creative content marketing and digital PR offering within the agency closely aligning with SEO strategy.

Her work has won numerous awards over the years with the focus of building links on top tier publications to improve organic performance by creating stories, data, and assets that journalists want to talk about or link to naturally and users want to share just because it’s awesome.

Carrie made the shortlist for Young Digital Marketer of the Year at the Northern Digital Awards 2019.

Originally from Argentina, Gisele is the Operations Director at NeoMam Studios, leading the agency’s content production and promotion teams – from ideation to outreach. She has been building hard-to-get links since 2009 and is specialised in creating content that drives search visibility and continues to attract links years after the promotion has stopped.

Surena is the Digital PR Manager at Re:signal, where she is tasked with coming up with creative campaign concepts and acquiring links on top-tier publications. Formerly a journalist, with roles and bylines on publications including Harper's Bazaar Arabia, OK!, BBC Good Food Middle East and Cosmopolitan Middle East, Surena has utilised her skills and experience in the world of digital marketing for over three years.

Andrew started his career in Sports Therapy moving from a small town in North-West England to find work in "the big smoke". It was during his time at a private chiropractic clinic where he met Lisa Myers who introduced him to the world of SEO. Fast forward three years he is now an Outreach Team Lead at Verve Search, although he does work on pitching to journalists and securing coverage individually his main focus is on helping the team pick up top-tier sites and to develop them as people and professionals.

Andrew was shortlisted for UK Young Person of the Year in 2017, European Young Person of the Year in 2018 and won a Verve company award in 2019.

Outside of work Andrew spends a lot of time around sports, fitness and gaming - his strongest passion is esports, where he used to compete for several years

With 12 years’ experience in journalism and digital PR Ruth is Senior Digital PR & Outreach Manager at Evolved Search and was highly commended for Women In Marketing’s One To Watch award in 2019.

Alongside the coverage Ruth gains for clients she can be seen sharing her views with the likes of Forbes, BBC, Telegraph, Guardian, Daily Mail, Huffington Post and Mashable on a regular basis.

James is a multi-discipled SEO (creatively geeky) who loves to understand how things work and rail against 'impossible'. His concentration is on where SEO might be years from now and how he can work towards making that happen faster.
